Bright yellow daffodils are always a favourite flower with their merry nodding heads and come in a wide range of varieties. They really are the harbingers of warmer spring weather and, as such, bring a smile to one's face. If you have a green fingered friend, why not send them this pretty basket with 3 different types of daffodil bulbs and a packet of soil mix for them to plant themselves? In October or November, fill the basket half-full with the soil and then plant the bulbs, pointed side up, close together but without letting them touch. Add the rest of the soil so the bulbs are covered and then water thoroughly and put in a cool dark place for about 12 weeks checking that the soil is kept moist. When the foliage and buds are start to develop, gradually move the basket to a bright windowsill and await the arrival of your daffodil flowers and Spring!
